iSENSE offers surface strain sensors which is used while measuring high forces on severely loaded parts of plants. Their applications include force measurement via strains in machine frames (e.g., presses, assembly machines, welding machines, tool breakage detection, clamping devices, feed force), limit value monitoring to prevent overloads, and monitoring and documentation of process forces. Our surface strain sensors are welded into an appropriate holder that is fixed firmly onto the object being observed and records its deformations.
